Collect info first
Before reaching out, gather the following. It helps us diagnose issues without back-and-forth.
  • FileCab version (shown in About or app footer)
  • OS and architecture (e.g. macOS arm64, Windows x64)
  • Steps to reproduce the issue
  • Whether dry-run mode was enabled
  • Whether real-time monitor was active
  • Exported rule set (JSON from Rules page)
  • Any error message or notification shown
